31. What would be the perfect romantic weekend for you? Wow…that's such a good question that I'm not going to
answer it here...that's an article idea! Click here to read it.

 32. How long does it take you to write something and post it? Depends on what that something is. I do all my writing
in MS Word. If it's a poem or Haiku, it takes about ten minutes or so. Articles for prose can take up to several hours to
hammer out exactly how I want it. Diary items can run from 20 minutes to an hour. Questions can take up to 30
minutes to do, but then sometimes I will let them sit a day or so and then review my answer. "Travels" articles can take
several weeks, as I have to sort out everything and get them straight. And that does NOT include the time I take to write
notes while I travel! Short stories take forever; but I am planning to put two more out on the website in 2004. They have
been percolating for awhile and now it is just a matter of doing the hard work of finishing the writing. Posting things is
another matter. Once written, I cut, paste, then format everything using TrellixWeb 2.7. (I want to get CuteSITE builder-
Trellix's web site creator got bought out by these folks and renamed-next year and upgrade.) Anyway-once that has
been done, then I have to preview it, check it over for idiot errors, then I upload to Tripod. Then check it again for other
idiot errors. The whole process can take 30 minutes or more for several additions. And all that is presuming I can get
on my computer at home.

 33. You are taking hormones, yet don't seem to want SRS. Why? SRS is even more permanent than hormones,
honey. If I were closer to twenty five or thirty than I am, I might feel a little differently about it. I'd rather spend on the
hormones, and maybe laser hair removal and voice coaching than invest the tens of thousands of dollars for
something that seems so drastic at this point in my life. Plus, having had to take anti-seizure meds for as long as I
have, I don't expect to live forever. I am happy enough right now, and may take a few more steps in the direction of
SRS. But I would rather develop my life as a woman in the manner I am than too abruptly. However…I also will not
rule it out totally, and will encourage those who wish to undergo "The Operation" to do so.

 34. There are no buttons, banners, or ads on your website. Why is that? Because I don't like banners and buttons,
either! What a pain, you know? To me, it is worth the $4.95 a month to not have them. Plus, I think it makes the site
look more professional.  As for ads…I have been approached by several SRS docs, various companies, and other
TG's who have stuff for sale. I only have links to places that I use/have used/visited and know to be good stuff. There
are too many places out there that want nothing more than your money for cheap stuff! I will not carry ads for SRS
docs. Ever. Same thing for Pharmacies. I have this odd belief that if you want those things, you need to start with
seeing your own doc. If the day ever comes when hormones become an OTC item (and I support that, by the way!),
then I will be more than happy to place links to those companies and pharmacies that sell them.

 35. I think you take a hard line at times with the G/L/B community. What's the problem?  Wrong question.
I support them in many things, and you should as well. The "problem" is that too often, it feels like the TG community
is the red headed stepchild, an add-on to help "swell the numbers." Hate to say it, folks, but the TG movement is
growing to a point of critical mass. That feeling is why I closed my Gay.com account. They are a great place to go if
you are gay! I do support gay rights. I am friends with a number of Gay and Lesbian people, and want us all to live
in a world without hate. That must include the TG among us, however! All I guess I want is to be treated by those in
that community as one of them, not as one who can't make up my mind.

 36. You changed your name. Why? Good question. Click here to read why.

 37. You recently went through a rough patch, and thought about stuffing down your transsexualism. What's up with that?
Folks, I hate to say it, but I am human. I have fears, rough patches, and get down at times, just like you. However, I feel that
having gone through such a patch has made me a better, stronger woman. It made me think through just what it means to
me to be a woman...and whether or not it is worth the heartburn. Guess what? It really is. I guess what surprised me most is
that it all happened in a supposedly "liberal" city in a "liberal" state! Just goes to show you that trouble can find you where you
least expect it.

 38. You got rid of some stuff as a result of that rough patch. 'Fess up--it was a purge, wasn't it? Not really. Yes, I got rid of some
stuff that no longer fit and/or I really didn't wear much. No--because I replaced most of it in short order, and with better stuff in
some cases than the stuff I got rid of. (You can read about it here.)

 39. You actually thought about hanging up your transsexualism just because of some trouble? Yes. Not that I have never had trouble
ever in my femme life--far from it!--but rather, it was a combination of the situation at hand, plus other personal issues, plus a mild
case of depression, and to top it all off, I was just generally in need of some time out to think. Don't tell me you haven't been there with
this or anything else! Plus, it was the fact my SO got dragged into it. She was quite supportive of me in that time, even though she does
not totally "get it." She knew I was in conflict--and wisely let me sort it out on my own.

 40. How can you claim to be a woman 87.5% of the time? Can you prove that? Yes, I can. That's a good question, and I get into the
details here.
