This site is a good starting place to meet others like us. Star-Ranger
has been at this for quite some time, and her site is a good resource.

Lady Pantara's Transgender Resources

Her site is dedicated to informing all those that are in need of info or just want to learn about someone else's
experiences in the transgender life style. She has started to take the first steps through surgery to attain the
look she's after--and will progress to femme status, but doesn't believe she will ever go to the final
extreme (I.E., she's not going to undergo SRS). This is a must see.

Sabra Mykel's website. Some really good thoughts here, and a visually
pleasing website as well. Use the new index; the buttons are user-friendly
and Sabra has done a really good job of putting her thoughts out there.

I'm a proud member of these webrings:
Find some other T-friends!

More Links:
These links have been put into different categories for ease of use.
Transgender Links: There are far more Transgender links that I could add. If you know of one that just absolutely must be on this page somewhere, e-mail me and I'll check it out.

Transgender Issues:
Gendertree: This tastefully covers some of the spiritual issues we face. Written from a Christian perspective. If you have questions, this is a good place to go.

WPATH Standards of Care: (Formerly the Harry Benjamin Association) This is what you must know if you are serious about undergoing SRS/GRS. It is long reading, but a good thing to become familiar with.

International Journal of Transgenderism: This is a scholarly look at Transgender Health issues. It may seem a little dry, but it is full of information that might affect you.

Transgender Miscellaneous:
Sapphire's Place: Some great TG reading here.

TGFA: More interesting reading, and some cool artwork.

Transgender Shopping:
Carla's: Looking for something? They might be able to help you find it. Has a salon in San Jose, Ca. Also has a club.

The Fantasy Girl: Another place that can help you achieve that special look Located near Boston. Has a salon.

Gender Tests:
Kate Bornstein's Gender Aptitude Test: This is a fun, but reasonably serious, test to check aptitude for gender.

Gender Test Center: This link will take you to an interesting set of tests-the COGIATI and the Moir-Jessel-to help you determine your mental sex.

Straightacting: Okay, this has some unusual tests. (Like "How gay is your dog?") But, it also gives you a reasonable measure of how straight you actually act. It had me dead to rights.

Transgender Support:
Heartcorps: Melanie Ann Phillip's site. Has wonderful information available for voice, mental gender, and some other interesting things.

The International Foundation for Gender Education: A major resource site. Contains news, notes, and links.

TGForum: Is just what it sounds like: a forum for those of us who are TG.

TGlegal: While it will not come to your aid in a court of law per se, the information contained here will be of great value to you…and your attorney. Also contains the International Bill of Gender Rights. A must read!

TransBay: A San Francisco based Transgender group, and home of "Sasha's Secret Diary", which is a must-read! (Look under "features".)

Even More Links:

Clothing:
Liz Claiborne: My all time favorite. I have more of her stuff hanging in my closet than anyone else.

Silkies: They have great stuff--especially pantyhose--at reasonable prices...plus, it comes to your mailbox. If you register, and they ask for a sponsor, please give them this number: 098678536-9.

Health/Beauty:
neoBeauty.com: Can't buy Shiseido at home? Now you can order it online. They do not mail outside of North America, though...US and Canadian orders only.

Vitamin World: This is where I got all the herbs in my regimen, as well as where I continue to get my vitamins
and Calcium/Magnesium/Zinc supplements. Get the Frequent Buyer card; every quarter it saves me some
money.

Vitanet: This is where I bought "Boob Mud", otherwise known as Miracle Breast Cream by Natural Treasures. I liked it better than Wild Yam Cream.

Japanese Culture:
The Japanese Tea Garden in Golden Gate Park: This is another place I like to come to when I am home, especially at Haru (springtime).

The Translator: Tired of NOT speaking the Imperial Language? This is a fun tool that translates Japanese into English. It gives transliterations, so you can read it in English. Be sure to click off the Kanji and Kana boxes, or it will take a lot longer to translate.

Hotel New Otani: I got snowed in here when I visited. It really is a lovely hotel.

The Japan Times: News from Japan, in English.

Japantown, San Francisco: This is my all time favorite part of The City. Peace Plaza, some very good shopping, and home of Isobune Sushi, the best sushi in town...it floats by on funamori (sushi boats).

NHK: This is Japan's largest broadcast house. Check it out...this page is in English, and there are even Japanese lessons online!

Todai Japanese Restuarants: The "Mother of all seafood buffets", they have the biggest all you can eat
sushi bars in the country. Check them out!

Makeup:
Cover Girl: As in the make-up people. You should check out their website; it is full of things to help you look your best. Easy, breezy--and available everywhere you go.

Shiseido: My all time fave. I wear this all the time now.

Miscellaneous:
The Adventures of Nylon Futura: When Earth is about to be overrun by creepy aliens, there's only one woman up to the task of saving the day...Nylon Futura. Check out her adventures here...they're a stitch! (You'll need to click the animation link once you're there.)

The Converter: Ever wonder what the dollar is REALLY worth? Use this and find out.

Tickle: Take the I.Q, test, or any of the other tests they have here. (They show my IQ at 129, and my aura as Gold.)

Kikkoman: You really need sound for this. It's weird...but it's fun.
